THE B-SENS SCORE A GOAL FOR SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES

Johnson City, N.Y. – The Magic Paintbrush Project, in conjunction with the Binghamton Senators, have announced that the fourth annual Paint With The Players Workshop will take place Monday, Oct. 19 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

This special workshop will be held at The Magic Paintbrush Project’s beautiful new workshop at The Oakdale Mall. The special needs participants and their families will join the B-Sens for a game of “Slap Shot Art” and have fun with other hockey themed activities. B-Sens fans are welcome to watch the games unfold by reservation. Participation in the workshop is limited by reservation.

This vibrant session is planned each year to help engage special needs families creatively with each other as they face the challenges of a special needs diagnosis and include the community in the fun. The Binghamton Senators have volunteered their time and effort each year for this event. The families and players have a special opportunity to meet and “see” each other’s ability as it is captured in the paint.

A one-of-a-kind team autographed painted jersey from this session will be available in November at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena at the Annual Clay Ground Plate Auction. The Magic Paintbrush Project will be showcasing the artwork created at this event at the Arena throughout the year. As in past years, the families and players are looking forward to this seasonal tradition.
