As the youngest team in the American Hockey League, the Binghamton Senators, collectively aged 23 years and 1 month, have witnessed multiple milestones so far this season by some of the team's newest members.

Appropriately enough, the list begins with head coach Luke Richardson's first win of his AHL coaching career when the B-Sens defeated the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, 2-1, on Opening Night (Saturday, October 13).

On Saturday, October 27, forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau recorded his first professional point on an assist to Corey Cowick's goal during Binghamton's 4-2 loss to the Portland Pirates.

Shane Prince made his professional debut as a forward when the B-Sens beat the Norfolk Admirals, 4-3, on Friday, November 2, and recorded his first career point (an assist) the following night during the team's 4-2 loss to the Admirals. His first professional goal would prove to be a special memory as the Rochester, N.Y. native was given the chance against his hometown team. Prince scored as he deflected a shot by Tyler Eckford during Binghamton's 3-2 win over the Rochester Americans on Saturday, November 17.

"It's always tough to get the first one. It's definitely a monkey off my back. I couldn't have done it without my teammates." Prince said that night during post-game interviews. "It was pretty cool. Obviously growing up in that city, it was the team I watched. To be able to play against them was awesome, and to score against them was even better."

More milestones were amassed on Friday, November 16, during the B-Sens' 5-2 victory over the Adirondack Phantoms. Forward Mika Zibanejad, a first-round prospect of the Ottawa Senators, netted his first North American professional goal at 11:33 of the third period, and forward Mark Stone would follow with the first goal of his professional hockey career at 19:41, finding an empty Phantoms net.

Forward Cole Schneider rounds out the "firsts" list of the season thus far. He tallied his first two professional points (both goals) when the B-Sens beat the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 6-1, on Saturday, November 24. His first goal proved to be the game-winner and came at 18:43 of the first frame.

Following his feats, Schneider gave Richardson credit and praise for helping him along.

"Playing for a former NHL-er is just unreal," said Schneider. "It's been real fun just having him around, and hopefully we keep winning."
