The Binghamton Senators won a season-high fourth straight game on Saturday night with a 4-1 defeat of East Division rival Hershey at Giant Center. Netminder Brian Elliott led the way for Binghamton with 43 saves against the high-scoring Hershey attack.

The win snapped a 16-game road losing streak to Hershey and gave Binghamton its 17th win and 40th point of the season.

Winger Danny Bois collected a season-high two points (1+1) to lead the offensive charge for Binghamton and in the process registered his 50th AHL goal, 50th AHL assist and 100th AHL point.

Newcomer Aaron Clarke netted his first AHL marker in just his second game with Binghamton.

Defenseman Derek Smith scored his second goal of the season, while fellow defenseman Drew Fata netted his fifth.

The B-Sens were out shot 44-24, including 18 from Hershey in first period. Elliott and the defense stood tall and held the league’s highest scoring team to one goal.

The B-Sens (17-9-3-3, 40 pts.) go for their fifth straight win on Sunday evening when they take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (19-11-1-1, 40 pts.) at 5:05 p.m. Tune into 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, Voice of the B-Sens.  Fans can also tune in to B-Sens’ games via webcast or streaming video cast at www.ahllive.com
