The B-Sens were outshot 46-31 against the Norfolk Admirals on Friday night, a 4-2 loss to the division rival in their final trip to Norfolk Scope this season. The Senators also faced nine power-play chances by Norfolk.

Greg Mauldin potted his 20th marker of the season for Binghamton. Rookie Zack Smith netted the other Binghamton goal. Center Peter Regin assisted on Mauldin’s goal to extend his point streak to 12 games, (7+14), tying the season high for Binghamton.

Netminder Jeff Glass turned aside 42 of 46 shots in the losing effort. The loss snapped a four-game road winning streak for the B-Sens.

The B-Sens (37-25-5-3, 82 pts.) head north to Philadelphia for a Saturday night contest against the Phantoms (35-27-2-3, 75 pts.) at Wachovia Spectrum. Tune into 680 WINR-AM or 1430 WENE-AM 30 minutes before game time for Countdown to Faceoff with Grady Whittenburg, Voice of the B-Sens.  Fans can also tune in to B-Sens’ games via webcast or streaming video cast at www.ahllive.com
