GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators hit I-88 for Glens Falls to face the Phantoms for the second time in just three days. After a heart breaking 3-2 overtime loss Wednesday, the B-Sens stormed back with six goals, defeating the Phantoms 6-5.

Newcomer Connor Shields scored his first two goals as a Binghamton Senator, while Erik Condra added two of his own in the Binghamton victory.

Rookie defenseman Eric Gryba and Jonathan Cheechoo rounded out the scoring for the Senators.

Robin Lehner made his debut in goal for Binghamton stopping 21 of 26 shots faced.

However, with Bridgeport’s 3-2 over Lowell tonight, the Binghamton Senators are now officially out of contention for the 2010 Calder Cup playoffs.

Binghamton returns home tomorrow for their final home game of the 2009-2010, hosting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating. Fans can purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or in person at the Binghamton Senators’ executive office or the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office.
