B-SENS BRINGING IT HOME TO THE COMMUNITY…

The Binghamton Senators have partnered with the Broome County High School Hockey Association and Southern Tier Hockey Association for a pair of fundraisers this weekend for Jack Jablonski.

Jack Jablonski, known as Jabby or Jabs to his friends, is a 16 year old hockey player from Minnesota. On Dec. 30, Jablonski was checked from behind and careened into the boards head first, severing his spinal cord.

Beginning Friday, Feb. 17 as the B-Sens host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and continuing through the month of February at B-Sens home games, local youth hockey players will be selling red silicone Jack Jablonski wristbands for $2.

Fans can also visit the Jack Jablonski table on the concourse to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of many great prizes including an opportunity to sit with Voice of the B-Sens, Grady Whittenburg, during the radio broadcast of the B-Sens’ home game on Wednesday, March 21 versus the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and a private tour of the B-Sens locker room with captain Mark Parrish.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the wristbands and raffle tickets will benefit “The Jack Jablonski Fund”, which is managed by Wells Fargo.
